Our Xiamen production base's floor deck roll forming line with a ribbed deck sheet at the run-out
Our Xiamen production base's floor-deck production-line referenceWorkshop photograph from our Xiamen production base's floor deck machine page, showing one line and ribbed sheets at the run-out. Your line is configured to your deck drawing; ask us for current machine photos and trial videos.

Direct answer: choose the line from the deck section

Compare floor deck roll forming equipment against the same approved drawing, steel grade, thickness range, coil width, finished length and target output. Rib geometry, edge overlap and effective cover width define the product to form. Embossing, punching, cut-off and stacking are included only when required by the drawing and confirmed in the quoted configuration.

Floor deck sheet or structural floor member?

This page covers a roll-forming line for ribbed metal deck sheets, including the sheet geometry and installed cover width specified for a floor-decking system. If your drawing instead shows a narrow structural floor framing member with service holes and fixing tabs, compare the HLG-300 structural floor framing machine. The two applications need different profile drawings, tooling reviews and trial-sample checks; the HLG-300 catalogue width must not be treated as a deck-sheet cover width.

What to confirm before ordering

Buyer inputScope to confirm
Deck drawing and revisionRib depth, pitch, edge geometry and effective cover width.
Material and coilSteel grade, coating, thickness range and incoming coil width.
Additional featuresWhether embossing, punching or other operations are specified and included.
Production dutyCut lengths, target accepted output, handling and changeover needs.
AcceptanceIdentified trial material, measured samples, deviations and agreed repeatability checks.

What should a floor deck machine quotation include?

Direct answer: An itemized equipment scope tied to one deck drawing. Our factory engineers in Xiamen review the rib geometry, effective cover, steel grade and thickness, cut lengths, embossing or punching and target output, and we issue a written, project-specific quotation. For the configuration levels and price factors, see how much a floor deck roll forming machine costs.

Ask each supplier to separate the forming line and tooling from the decoiler, cut-off system, run-out or stacking equipment, guarding, spare tooling, commissioning and training. Mark every item as included, optional or excluded. Keep freight, import charges and site preparation separate, and record the quotation currency, validity and delivery basis. A lower headline total may cover a different machine or fewer services.

Compare the same drawing revision, material and acceptance trial across offers. Use the quotation-scope guide and buyer worksheet to record inclusions, then check the floor deck sample acceptance guide.

The YX floor-deck model page lists the configuration below. These are our Xiamen production base's published reference figures for its named example, checked on 28 September 2026. Your own line is specified in the quotation against your drawing, material and options.

Review a trial sample, not a catalogue speed

We demonstrate the proposed line with representative material at our Xiamen factory. Measure the first acceptable sheet against the drawing, then check additional identified samples under the agreed production sequence. Record punching or embossing features only when they are part of your ordered profile. Structural or fire performance of the completed building system needs separate project evidence.

For a detailed measurement record, read how to accept floor deck trial samples. If the purchase schedule distinguishes open-rib and re-entrant sections, use the floor-deck profile and tooling guide before assuming one set of rolls covers both. Send the drawing and material details through the configuration review form.

Send your floor deck drawing

Our factory engineers in Xiamen review your profile and production process, then we confirm the proposed configuration and quotation.

Request configuration review

How much does a floor deck roll forming machine cost?

Direct answer: We quote every floor deck roll forming machine by configuration, not from a fixed price list. The price depends on the profile drawing, material thickness, punching and cutting, the level of automation and the delivery terms. Send your drawing and we reply with a written quotation for that exact configuration.

Configuration levelWhat changesUsually chosen for
Single-profile deck lineOne deck profile with post-cutting and manual run-out.One standard deck profile
Multi-profile lineMore than one deck profile through exchangeable tooling.Producers who supply two or more deck profiles
Automatic line with stackingAutomatic cut-to-length, run-out and stacking for higher daily volume.Continuous production for distributors and contractors

Price rises from the first level to the third as tooling, servo control and automation are added.

What affects the price

  • Deck profile: depth, rib pitch and cover width
  • Steel thickness and yield strength
  • Embossing and end closure requirements
  • Cutting method and maximum sheet length
  • Composite or non-composite deck
  • Control system and main component brands (PLC, servo, hydraulics)
  • Decoiler, outfeed table and automatic stacking
  • Delivery terms (FOB or CIF), packing and spare parts
Send your profile drawing — quotation within 24 hoursInclude steel grade, thickness range, punching layout and target output. Factory-direct from our Xiamen production base.

Roll forming machines from Halcyon's Xiamen factory have been used on 150+ construction projects (2022–2026) in China and abroad, including an airport in Iraq, a national stadium in Senegal, resort buildings in the Maldives and a coal preparation plant in Mongolia. See the reference projects.

Check deck coverage and embossing on trial sheets

Send us the approved deck drawing, steel grade, coating, thickness range, coil width, specified embossing or punching, finished lengths and target accepted output. Identify the trial coil and retain first-off and later sheets. Measure rib depth, pitch and effective cover width at agreed datums; place two sheets in the specified lap direction to check fit.

Is the overall sheet width the installed cover width?

No. Installed cover depends on the specified side lap. Compare the assembled trial pair with the project drawing, not a single flat sheet alone.

Does an embossed sample establish composite-floor performance?

No. Record whether the proposed machine forms the specified embossing and sheet geometry. Structural composite action, fire rating and installation design require separate engineering evidence.

Is a structural floor framing member the same as a ribbed floor deck sheet?

No. This page is for ribbed deck sheets and their effective cover width. For a floor framing member with service holes and fixing features, review the HLG-300 structural floor framing reference against the actual member drawing.

What should be agreed before a machine trial?

Agree the drawing revision, material and coil, measurement method, sample interval, allowed deviations, cut lengths and handling sequence. Record any rejected or adjusted samples rather than only the best sheet.
