Omega Furring Channel Roll Forming Machine

Furring and omega channels for ceilings, drywall and cladding subframes — specify the section before choosing tooling.

Price range: furring channel machines

US$21,000–33,000 (standard) · US$39,000–78,000 (premium), FOB China

Standard covers the first two configuration levels (single-profile and multi-profile / quick-change); premium covers fully automatic lines.

Final price depends on profile, thickness, speed, punching and automation. Excludes freight, import duties and installation. Send your profile drawing for a quotation within 24 hours. North American configurations (480V/60Hz, UL and local requirements) are quoted separately.

Large complete lines (e.g. truck chassis beam lines or full cable tray lines) are quoted per project, typically above US$150,000.

Manufactured in our Xiamen factory · 35+ years of roll forming experience.

What should an omega furring line reproduce?

Direct answer: Match the specified omega or top-hat section to the project drawing. Face width, leg depth, flange width, return lips and fixing holes determine the tooling. Do not use a generic catalogue speed or shape to infer span or load capacity; those are design questions.

  • Section inputdimensioned face, legs, flanges, lips and tolerances
  • Material inputgrade, coating, thickness range and coil width
  • Fixing inputhole positions and datum if punching is required
  • Trial evidencemeasure repeat sections and test connection to the intended bracket or lining

Keep the furring decision separate from a structural hat line

This page addresses the omega or furring section used in a specified ceiling or cladding subframe. The HHP-30 hat-profile reference is a separate production-base example; its catalogue image and dimensions do not establish that the same tooling makes this omega section. Ask for a current tooling drawing and a sample for the exact profile you intend to order.

Source and limits: Halcyon Machinery buyer-review framework, updated 29 September 2026. The equipment illustration is a HFC-45 production-base catalogue rendering for hat and furring channel equipment. Halcyon supplies factory-direct from our Xiamen production base. This image does not establish an offered model, machine capacity, structural load rating or project-code approval. Confirm the exact drawing, offer and trial evidence.

Can it share a stud-and-track platform?

Only if the proposed frame, shaft arrangement, tooling and changeover have been checked against both approved drawings. A matching market or operator skill does not prove machine compatibility. Compare the stud-and-track requirements before asking for a combined quotation.

How to compare an omega roll forming machine price

Direct answer: Compare written quotations for the same section drawing, material and production scope. A furring-channel line, a structural omega-purlin line and an omega-clamp machine can serve different jobs. A price for one is not a useful benchmark for the others. Halcyon reviews the required furring section with our factory team before confirming the proposed equipment and quotation.

Put these scope items beside each supplier's quoted total
Scope itemEvidence to compare
Section and materialApproved drawing revision, face/leg/flange/lip dimensions, steel grade, thickness and coating. Identify every included section and any tooling excluded from the price.
Punching and cuttingRequired hole pattern and datum, cut length and end geometry, proposed dies and blades, and the changeover procedure. Compare samples made with those tools.
Coil and finished-part handlingCoil dimensions and mass, proposed feeding and support arrangement, unloading method, guarding and electrical supply. State which auxiliaries belong to the quoted line.
Measured trialA record tying the offered build to the drawing and material, repeat measurements, hole positions, cut ends and fit to the intended bracket or lining. Record accepted parts and elapsed time including punching, cutting and handling.
Delivery and service scopeWritten packaging, transport responsibility, installation, training, spare tooling, warranty terms and exclusions. Compare the agreed currency and delivery basis; do not assume these are included.

A catalogue speed or a similar-looking profile does not establish your accepted output, tooling compatibility or building-system approval. Ask for a trial using your drawing and material before accepting a configuration. Send the section, fixing detail and target output for a quotation review.

Application boundary

Check the omega section in its actual ceiling or cladding assembly

The same visual shape can have different face, leg, flange, hole and coating requirements in a ceiling lining and a wall subframe. Put the intended bracket, board or panel interface beside the approved section drawing. Ask our factory team to trial that material and hole pattern, then check a cut sample against the mating component. Formed dimensions alone do not establish span, wind resistance, fire performance or approval of the finished building system.

Send the section and connection drawing

Keep these trial records separate

  • Ceiling or wall application and the exact drawing revision
  • Steel grade, coating, thickness and visible-surface requirement
  • Face, leg, flange, lip and straightness measurements
  • Fixing-hole position relative to the chosen edge datum
  • Fit to the specified bracket, lining board or cladding support
Does an LA hat-profile demonstration prove omega furring capability?

No. The HHP-30 supplier reference is for a named hat-profile example. An omega section needs its own tooling scope and measured sample against its drawing.

Can one omega machine cover ceiling and wall projects?

Only if the proposed tooling and trials cover both approved sections and their fixing interfaces. Similar appearance is not evidence of common tooling or system suitability.

What evidence belongs in an equipment quotation?

Identify the proposed line and rolls, supported drawings, punching and cutting arrangement, test material, accepted sample criteria and exclusions. Project structural and fire approval remains with the relevant designer and test evidence.
